#  Dropdown Field

##  A selectable list that allows users to choose one option from a predefined set.

The Dropdown field shows a list of options and lets the visitor pick one from a drop-down.

Add your options in the field's Choices setting. For the same single-choice behaviour shown inline, use [Radio Buttons](https://www.tassos.gr/docs/convert-forms/fields/radio-buttons) instead.

## [How to add a Dropdown Field](#how-to-add)

1. Log into your Joomla backend.
2. Go to Components → Convert Forms → Forms.
3. Create a new form or edit an existing one.
4. In the form builder, click **Add Field**.
5. Select **Dropdown** from the field list.
6. Configure the field's settings.
7. Save the form.
