The Rich Text Editor gives visitors a formatting toolbar so they can style their answer with bold, lists, links, and more.

Reach for it when a plain [Textarea](https://www.tassos.gr/docs/convert-forms/fields/textarea) isn't enough and you want formatted input.

## [How to add a Rich Text Editor Field](#how-to-add)

1. Log into your Joomla backend.
2. Go to Components → Convert Forms → Forms.
3. Create a new form or edit an existing one.
4. In the form builder, click **Add Field**.
5. Select **Rich Text Editor** from the field list.
6. Configure the field's settings.
7. Save the form.
