A Small Update to Our Renewal Discount

For many years, we’ve offered a 40% renewal discount across our Joomla extensions. This is something very few Joomla companies do, and it’s a policy we’ve consistently maintained.

Over time, our extensions have grown significantly. Every year, we ship more features, improvements, fixes, and ongoing Joomla compatibility work. At the same time, our operating expenses have increased, while we’ve deliberately chosen not to increase the initial subscription price, so getting started remains affordable.

Like many independent software businesses, we’ve also been affected by recent changes in the ecosystem. The rapid evolution of AI tools and the introduction of Google AI summaries have had a noticeable impact on organic traffic on our site, which in turn has affected revenue.

To keep the business sustainable and continue long-term development, we’re making a small adjustment to our renewal discount as part of a broader effort to strengthen our revenue streams.

What’s changing

• The renewal discount will change from 40% to 30% starting Monday, 9 February 2026
• Until then, you can still renew at the 40% discount

How to lock in the 40% discount

You don’t need to wait until your subscription is close to expiring.

• You can renew your subscription at any time before 9 February 2026 and receive the 40% renewal discount.
• You can also renew multiple times. For example, renewing twice today extends your subscription by 2 years, at 40% off each renewal.

Why we’re doing this

Renewal revenue funds ongoing development, maintenance, and support, while giving us clearer visibility to plan features, compatibility work, and long-term maintenance. We truly appreciate your continued support, it allows us to keep building Joomla tools with a long-term mindset, despite ongoing changes across the web.
