We're Not Going Anywhere

With RocketTheme shutting down on June 30, 2025, and long-standing extensions like K2 still stuck in Joomla 3, it’s no wonder people are genuinely concerned about the future of Joomla — and by extension, the future of our products. A glance at the Joomla Extensions Directory (JED) doesn’t help much either — plenty of extensions haven’t seen an update in over a year, and some developers have simply gone quiet.
Fewer developers are active today compared to a few years ago, and some long-time companies have moved on. However, Joomla remains relevant and a safe option for your new project. But now more than ever, it needs the support of its users and the remaining developer community to thrive. If you’re still building with it, you’re helping shape its future.
I’m not going anywhere
Let’s make something crystal clear: this isn’t a hobby or weekend side hustle.
Building Joomla extensions is my full-time job. It’s how I support my family. I’ve been doing this for over a decade, and I’m not planning to stop anytime soon. Joomla is what allowed me to quit my agency job, build a life I’m proud of, and stay close to the code — something I still enjoy every day.
Yes, we’ve also started developing for WordPress with FireBox, but Joomla is still at the heart of what we do. We’re fully committed to maintaining all our Joomla extensions — not just Convert Forms, but EngageBox, Google Structured Data, and everything else in the lineup.
We’re not winding down. We’re still building, shipping updates, and providing support on a daily basis.
But what if something happens to you?
Fair question. It’s one I’ve heard a few times recently, and I understand why, especially if you’ve been burned by an abandoned extension before.
This isn’t a one-man show. I run the business with my cousin and partner, Stergos, a developer who’s been working with me for years. You’ve probably seen him answering questions in our Facebook group — and behind the scenes, he’s coding, debugging, and helping shape every release.
Also, all our Joomla extensions are hosted on GitHub. While the repos are private now, we could easily make them public or hand them off if needed. Everything is versioned and documented. We’ve built this in a way that could continue even without me in the picture.
That’s not something we plan for — but it’s something we’re ready for, just in case.
How you can help keep this going
If you’ve made it this far, thank you. Really.
We’re here for the long haul. But like any independent software company, we rely on our users to keep going. Your support is what allows us to keep building, updating, fixing, and improving.
So if you like what we do — if our extensions help you get your work done — the best way to support us is simple:
👉 Keep your subscription active
👉 Renew when it’s time
Thanks again for trusting us with your projects. We’re committed to Joomla — and we’re not going anywhere.
