Community Builder Integration

MailChimp Auto-Subscribe can work with Community Builder and its Subscriptions plugin to keep your MailChimp audience in sync with your users.

When a subscription is activated, renewed, or updated, the user can be synced to MailChimp.
When a subscription expires or is canceled, the user can be automatically unsubscribed (optional).

You must install the latest BETA version 5.1.2-RC2+ to use the Community Builder integration.

Install the Community Builder Integration Plugin

Before we start, make sure MailChimp Auto-Subscribe and Community Builder are already installed on your site.

1. Download the integration ZIP file from here.

2. Log in to your Joomla! back-end

3. Navigate to Components → Community Builder → Plugin Management

4. Click on "Install CB Plugin".

   

5. Upload the ZIP file you downloaded

6. Click on "Upload & install".

   

7. The MailChimp Auto-Subscribe Community Builder integration is now installed.

   

Configure MailChimp Auto-Subscribe

1. Go to System → Manage → Plugins.
2. Search for User - MailChimp Auto-Subscribe and click to edit it.

3. Open the Integrations tab

4. Enable the Unsubscribe user when subscription expires or is cancelled toggle.

   

5. Click Save.
