Redirect to a Menu Item After Form Submission
In Convert Forms, you can redirect visitors to a specific Joomla menu item after they successfully submit a form. This allows you to send users to internal pages, such as a thank-you page, a member area, or any custom page that already exists in your site’s menu structure.
In this article, you’ll learn how to configure your form to redirect visitors to a selected menu item after submission, so you can control the post-submission experience without managing URLs or hardcoded links.
How to redirect to a menu item after form submission
Step 1: Select the Redirect Action
Open your form in the Convert Forms builder. From the Successful Submission Action dropdown, select Redirect to menu item.

Step 2: Choose the Menu Item
Once the redirect option is enabled, the Redirect Menu Item field will appear. Select the menu item you want visitors to be redirected to after submitting the form.

Step 3: Save the Form
Save your form to apply the changes. From now on, every successful form submission will redirect visitors to the selected menu item page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I redirect users to a URL instead of a menu item?
Yes. If you want to send visitors to an external page or a custom URL instead of a Joomla menu item, you can use the Redirect to URL action.
