Hidden Field
A Hidden field is never shown to the visitor on the front-end. It stores a value that's saved with the submission.
Use it to pass along context like a campaign name, a page URL, or a product ID, often populated with a smart tag.
How to add a Hidden Field
- Log into your Joomla backend.
- Go to Components → Convert Forms → Forms.
- Create a new form or edit an existing one.
- In the form builder, click Add Field.
- Select Hidden Field from the field list.
- Configure the field's settings.
- Save the form.
