Email Address Field

The Email Address field is a text box that only accepts a valid email address. If the visitor types something that isn't an email, the form won't submit until they fix it.

Reach for it whenever you need a reliable email, for a newsletter opt-in, a contact form, or a reply-to address.

How to add an Email Address Field

1. Log into your Joomla backend.
2. Go to Components → Convert Forms → Forms.
3. Create a new form or edit an existing one.
4. In the form builder, click Add Field.
5. Select Email Address from the field list.
6. Configure the field's settings.
7. Save the form.
