Website / URL Field

The Website / URL field accepts a properly formed URL that starts with http:// or https://. Anything else is rejected when the visitor submits.

Handy for portfolio links, social profiles, or a company website.

How to add a Website / URL Field

1. Log into your Joomla backend.
2. Go to Components → Convert Forms → Forms.
3. Create a new form or edit an existing one.
4. In the form builder, click Add Field.
5. Select Website / URL from the field list.
6. Configure the field's settings.
7. Save the form.
